Five hundred fifty kilometers from any island with fresh water, or the technology to make it, is not the place to hear your ship captain exclaim, "Oh dear! The still broke. Ration what you have, we will get no more..."
Furthermore you are on an experimental sailing craft on which the still also powers the thermal hydrodynamic thrust drive. You still have sails and the electric prop, but they were not designed to deal with the open seas... guess where you are.

Description:
Strange public works projects all over a small town that have no reason or funding. The contractor is melting down golden statues of unsurpassed beauty and extremely life-like detail. The statues are coming from one office in the city government and a particular "elected" official. Apparently this is the funding... only he is not purchasing any statues nor has he in recent memory.
A final note: they look surprisingly similar to residents and recent travelers of all species. Mature players only (16+)
